Professional Qualifications
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
BA St Mary's College, Twickenham, University of Surrey
MTh Heythrop College, London University
MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy - Roehampton University
I have also attended specific bereavement counselling training at Brent Bereavement Service.
As part of my committment to ongoing professional development I am currently working toward registration with UKCP.
In 2010 I am commencing a post-graduate diploma in couple counselling and intend to start an advanced diploma in Existential Psychotherapy in January 2011 at Regents College.
Evening meetings for Therapists
I hold regular evening meetings with other therapists where we can read and discuss areas of interest in the field of psychotherapy. This considers recent research as well as the theory that informs practice. If you are a therapist and would like to join in these groups please get in touch.
