Research topics and Participation
I have previously engaged in research into therapist experience of the present moment in psychotherapy and I am hoping to undertake a PhD in a related topic after I complete the advanced diploma at Regent's College.
I have an interest in the topic of moments that occur within the process of therapy. Through phenomenological research methods I wish to explore other therapists experience of these moments of mystery, connection or transformation or other words that we may use to try and speak of the process of therapy.
Other Researchers and Students
I am open to participating in any research in the field of psychotherapy, so if you are a student seeking research participants feel free to contact me. I know from experience it can sometimes be difficult finding willing volunteers!
CPD Groups for Other Therapists
If you are a psychotherapist or counsellor and would like to engage in a small CPD group discussion please get in touch. In these groups we will have time to reflect on the theory underpinning our work so the implications of the theory can stay fresh in our practice. Members take it in turn to bring a chapter / book to present to the group to then open the topic up for discussion.
These groups are open to accredited and non-accredited practitioners so if you are interested and wish to have more details please email me with your details.
