Professional Qualifications
I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist and I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy, the Ethical Guidelines for Researching Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure for the time being in force.
BA St Mary's College, Twickenham, University of Surrey
MTh Heythrop College, Kensington Square, London University
MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy - Roehampton University
I have also attended specific bereavement counselling training at Brent Bereavement Service.
As part of my commitment to ongoing professional development I am currently working toward registration with UKCP.
I am currently studying on an advanced diploma in Existential Psychotherapy at Regents College, London. I am engaging in this particular qualification as I see it as a central part of my professional development as a psychotherapist and existential philosophy resonates with my way of working.
I am also hoping to complete a training to gain a qualification in mediation later this year in order to be able to offer a workplace and family mediation service.
Invitation to Other Counsellors and Psychotherapists
If you are a qualified counsellor or psychotherapist and you would be interested in joining with me in sourcing an 'in-house' training by a recognised training body leading to a qualification in mediation please get in touch to discuss the possbility of this. At this moment it is likely this will take place at the Wimborne Therapy Centre rather than at the Central London locations.
